House Rules &
Expectations
Both Ridge House and Hollywood House follow the same set of rules and expectations. These
guidelines are in place to maintain safety, protect recovery, and support respectful community
living.

Core Rules

Curfew is generally set at 10 PM, with adjustments possible based on work schedule and program level

Random UA and BA testing is conducted multiple times each week

A weekly lab-based drug screen is required through a third-party provider

Guests are allowed only with prior authorization from the house manager or housing supervisor

Minors are not permitted inside the homes

Personal vehicles must have valid registration, insurance, and a current driver’s license

Smoking and vaping are permitted outside only
Relapse and Substance Use Policy

Use of substances is reviewed case-by-case, with safety, honesty, and recovery engagement taken into account and may result in removal from the program.
The primary goal is to protect the safety and recovery of all residents in the home.
Accountability and Consequences
When rules are broken or expectations are not met, responses may include:

Curfew modifications

Additional chores or responsibilities

Required relapse prevention or educational assignments

Temporary loss of certain privileges

Formal program review with leadership
These measures are designed to reinforce structure and accountability in support of recovery.
